Bank Street Park engagement is underway

A new place to eat your fish ’n’ chips on Sydney Harbour is a step closer with community engagement underway to help plan for a new park on Bank Street at Blackwattle Bay. We have enjoyed meeting the local community to hear the thoughts and ideas for the new 1.1-hectare park.

The rain clouds parted briefly for the pop-up events at the Sydney Fish Market and Pirrama Park, with great representation from the community sharing plenty of ideas and stories about the area.

Some online workshops, a Weaving Stories on Country Aboriginal workshop and more in-person pop-ups are planned over the next few weeks.
