Bank Street Park planning modification

Infrastructure NSW has lodged Modification 2 for Bank Street Park with the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.

The proposed changes are now on public exhibition for two weeks, from 28 November to 11 December 2025. 

What’s Changing? 

Modification 2 includes: 

• Removal of the previously approved new building, and disbursing the following throughout the park:

  • Relocation of the marina administration building to the edge of the park  

  • New outdoor dining options for food trucks and other flexible food and beverage offerings  

  • New amenities building  

• Realignment of pathways and removal of over-water decking near the marina  

• Minor adjustments to the foreshore promenade and sandstone steps  

• Realigning the dragon boat storage and retention of the existing ramp  

• Updated landscaping and seating. 

Why are these changing?

These refinements are designed to enhance the park’s accessibility, amenity, and connection to the water, while responding to community priorities identified during early consultation.
