Bank Street Pop-up Park now open

Your new recreation space is ready to welcome you!

We’re delighted to let you know that construction on the brand-new Bank Street Pop-up Park has concluded and the park is now open to the public.

Located on the land of the future Bank Street Park, this temporary park is the first part of public open space delivered as part of the Blackwattle Bay Precinct urban renewal and will remain in place while planning progresses for the longer-term Bank Street Park.

Designed by OCULUS and delivered by Regal Innovations on behalf of Infrastructure NSW, it includes a basketball half-court, outdoor fitness equipment, handball court, shaded areas to sit and relax and scooter paths for children to enjoy.

This park is just the beginning of the transformation of Blackwattle Bay, and the first step in creating more accessible public spaces in the heart of the city.
